Psychology Jobs - Psychologist Jobs - Clinical Psychologist Jobs - Mental Health Jobs

Thank you for visiting the psychology jobs page of Primary Care Psychology, a clinical psychology service located in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

We are currently looking for several part-time clinical psychologists to work with adults presenting with a wide range of psychological disorders.

Our mission is to provide specialist clinical psychology services to financially disadvantaged people throughout Melbourne, so if this fits with your personal philosophy then we encourage you to read the job description below.

Psychology Jobs

Working amongst a team of qualified clinical psychologists you will see approximately 5 to 6 clients per day for individual psychological therapy. You will work exclusively within the Medicare "Better Access" system and will be delegated referrals by the Clinical Director.

We run morning, afternoon, evening and weekend shifts, and you may choose whichever shifts are convenient for you. However, we do have a preference for psychologists who can work a few evenings (until 8pm) or a Saturday each week.

Therapy rooms, referrals and peer supervision will be provided at no cost. We try to encourage a supportive environment where you may seek advice and assistance from your colleagues, and thus we will only consider psychologists who want to work in a team environment.

As we try to minimise costs in order to provide a low-fee therapy service we do not have a full-time office administrator. We have a receptionist who takes incoming calls but each psychologist is responsible for timetabling their clients. If you have a full-time client load this admin task takes approximately 30 mins per day. We can instruct you on how to do this efficiently and cost effectively.

As part of the expansion we are currently moving location but will be situated around the South Yarra / Prahran / East St Kilda area.
